Veterans of Foreign Wars | Vehicle Donation Program

The Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) of the United States is a nonprofit veterans service organization comprised of eligible veterans and military service members from the active, guard and reserve forces. The VFW traces its roots back to 1899 when veterans of the Spanish-American War and the Philippine Insurrection founded local organizations to secure rights and benefits for their service. Many arrived home wounded or sick and with no medical care or veterans' pension; they were left to care for themselves.

Their selfless desire to care for those whom share a common bond forged by war laid the foundation for the multifaceted, powerhouse organization VFW has become. We have many programs and services that work to support veterans, service members and their families, as well as communities worldwide.
